Ian has been busy creating apps and trying out various things with Appshed. He's also had a look at some quiz-making sites such as Polldaddy, Surveymonkey and Proprofs, and has now made an app with some quizzes on (though this may well be a work-in-progress) and has written a short "How To" to help students upload it to their devices:
We urge you to have a go at the quiz and let us know what you think!
So over the Christmas holidays, I have been learning how to use Appshed to create apps for our students. This is part of the first phase of the project, in accordance with the project timeline. I will then teach the other members of the department how to create their own apps too.
I found Appshed quite easy to use, if a little cumbersome, but managed to make a good app within a few hours.
The next stage is to upload the app and test it, as I'm sure there are loads of mistakes!
I can still edit the app and users will be able to update their apps when they are connected to the internet.
So here is the web app: http://apps.appshed.com/155224/
Below is the QR code:
I would appreciate any comments about this app, positive or otherwise!
